Known primarily for their old-vine Zinfandels, Turley Wine Cellars also produces a small amount of estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc from organically farmed vineyards at their winery property in St. Helena. The 'Estate' bottling reflects a crisp, mineral-driven style, with natural acidity preserved by early picking and restrained winemaking.

VARIETY: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
TERROIR: Estate vineyard in St. Helena, Napa Valley; gravelly alluvial soils with excellent drainage. The site receives ample sunshine with cooling influence from the nearby Mayacamas Mountains, encouraging fresh aromatics and balanced ripening.
VINIFICATION: Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts. Fermentation occurs in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak barrels to balance vibrancy and texture.
AGING: Aged for a brief period in stainless steel and neutral French oak; no malolactic conversion. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
TASTING NOTES: Fresh citrus blossom, lemon pith, green melon, and crushed herbs on the nose. The palate is bright and saline, with notes of lime zest, green papaya, and wet stone. Lively acidity and a lean, clean finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Fresh chèvre, oysters, grilled asparagus, Thai green curry, or herbed roast chicken
