- TERROIR: Sourced from Colgin’s estate vineyards in Napa Valley, including sites on Pritchard Hill and in St. Helena, planted on volcanic and loamy soils with excellent drainage and sun exposure.
- VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, fermented in small stainless-steel tanks with extended maceration for optimal extraction.
- AGING: Aged for 20 months in 100% new French oak barrels, adding depth, structure, and polished tannins.
- TASTING NOTES: Aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, and plum are layered with notes of violet, graphite, and cedar. The palate is full-bodied and plush, with velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a seamless, lingering finish marked by dark chocolate and espresso.
