Founded by Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges in 2001, Wine & Soul focuses on small-production wines from historic vineyards in the Douro Valley. The duo is dedicated to showcasing native Portuguese varieties through low-intervention farming and vinification, often working with centenarian vines in steep, schist-laden terrain.

VARIETY: Field blend of over 30 native Douro varieties, predominantly Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz
-
TERROIR: Sourced from old vines averaging 50 years of age, planted at 450 meters elevation in the Cima Corgo subregion of the Douro Valley; soils are predominantly schist with excellent drainage and low fertility, promoting concentration in the grapes.
