- TERROIR: Sourced from leased vineyards in Derthona, within the Colli Tortonesi appellation, located along the southeastern edge of Piedmont. The soils are rich in Sant’Agata fossil marls, composed of twenty-million-year-old compacted calcareous clay, imparting savoriness and salty minerality to the wine.
- VINIFICATION: Gentle, non-oxidative extraction with stems lends texture to the wine. Malolactic fermentation is blocked to maintain acidity, and the wine is aged in small ceramic-cement barrels to preserve brightness and purity of flavor.
- AGING: Aged in small ceramic-cement barrels to retain freshness and enhance textural complexity.
- TASTING NOTES: The 2023 vintage is creamy and ample, beautifully layered with hints of apricot, chamomile, and white flowers. Light tropical accents develop as the wine opens, leading to a bright and refreshing finish.
