Les Celliers de Sion was formed in 2010 from two historic Valais houses: Bonvin, founded in 1858, and Varone, founded in 1900. The Bonvin house is the oldest wine house in Valais and played a major role in the reputation of Swiss wine. Varone is known for polysensory tasting. Together they run an Oenoparc, a wine tourism site, at the foot of the terraced vineyards of Sion.

- TERROIR: Valais, Switzerland. The grape is grown here on high-elevation, stony, well-drained soils with a warm climate and a long ripening season.
- TASTING NOTES: Aromas of lees, baked bread, walnut oil, lemon zest and white flowers. The palate is soft and creamy, with yellow apple, nectarine and honeysuckle. Nicely mineral, with a lingering finish. 13% ABV.
- FOOD PAIRINGS: Aperitif, roasted duck, grilled chicken, crab and salmon dishes.
