Luis Adolfo y Lorenzo Vermut Rosso, Mallorca, Spain NV
A modern Mediterranean take on classic Vermut Rosso, made in Mallorca through a collaboration between Brassclub's Rafa Martín and La Vermutera. The base is native Malvasia from Vinyes Mortitx, infused over months with a botanical blend that leans on local herbs alongside the traditional vermouth spice kit — a small-batch expression of Spain's vermut tradition built for both sipping and mixing.
- Winemaker: Rafa Martín (Brassclub), in collaboration with La Vermutera
- Farming: Sustainable farming, hand-foraged botanicals
- Variety: Native Malvasia (base wine), sourced from Vinyes Mortitx
- Terroir: Vinyes Mortitx, Mallorca, Spain
- Vinification: Base Malvasia macerated for several months with a botanical selection of wormwood, lemon verbena, grapefruit, cinnamon, myrtle, clove, anise, and cardamom.
- Aging: Aged 2 months; bottled at 15% ABV in 750ml.
- Tasting Notes: Expressive aromas with hints of sweet fruits such as orange and raisins. Sweet at the beginning, balanced by a bitter bite and dry finish.
- Food Pairings: Served chilled or over ice with an orange twist; built for a Negroni or Manhattan variation, or on its own as an aperitif.
