Mosole 'Passi di Luce' Cabernet, Veneto Orientale, Veneto, Italy 2022
Tenuta Mosole represents the vision and dedication of the Mosole family in the Venetian hinterland of Eastern Veneto. The estate was purchased by Sergio Mosole in 1986, and in 1992, his son Lucio began winemaking at the young age of 22, dedicating himself from the start to quality production. Over 39 harvests, Lucio Mosole has carried out his aspiration to create wines that embody the spirit of his homeland with tenacity and determination. The estate's 30 hectares of meticulously tended vineyards are situated in the Lison-Pramaggiore DOC region, straddling the Venetian side near the border with Friuli, approximately 50 kilometers from Venice. The vineyards benefit from calcium-rich clay soils of Dolomitic origin where the ancient courses of the Livenza and Tagliamento rivers left behind old calcareous beds that contribute aromatic compounds and minerality to the wines. Lucio has revolutionized the winemaking process, combining tradition with modern technology and sustainable farming practices in a state-of-the-art 2,000-square-meter cellar. The Passi di Luce line represents the estate's approachable wines, crafted with the same meticulous vineyard work and passion as their flagship bottlings.
- WINEMAKER: Lucio Mosole.
- FARMING: Sustainable farming practices with attention to quality control and innovative oenological principles.
- VARIETY: 97% Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, blended from 13-year-old vines.

- AGING: Six months on the lees in stainless steel tanks.
- TASTING NOTES: Super dark fruit attack with a minty lift. Black raspberry and black tea, ripe fruit with an earthy finish. Juicy mid palate and soft velvety tannin.
- FOOD PAIRINGS: Ideal companion for memorable moments with friends and family at the table. Pairs well with grilled meats, pasta dishes, and medium-aged cheeses.
The Passi di Luce range features four important varietals crafted to contribute to the pleasures of the table, with wines that become the best allies of convivial gatherings through their aroma and structure.
