“Néboa” is a Galician word for fog—an elemental presence in the vineyards of Rías Baixas. This Albariño is a collaboration with Bodegas Eidosela, where a single site in the Condado do Tea subregion was identified and vinified separately to express its singular character.
- WINEMAKER: Collaboration with Bodegas Eidosela.
- FARMING: Sustainably farmed; vineyards cultivated by 61 family growers across ~45 hectares, pergola-trained to mitigate humidity.
- VARIETY: 100% Albariño.
- TERROIR: Condado do Tea, Rías Baixas (Galicia, Spain). Northwest Atlantic climate with high rainfall (600–1600 mm/year), poor nutrient soils of sand, granite, and slate. Parcels are typically small (under 0.5 ha).
- VINIFICATION: Single-parcel selection vinified separately to specifications; fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity.
- AGING: Stainless steel; bottled young to emphasize vibrancy.
- TASTING NOTES: Fresh and saline with citrus zest, white peach, green apple, and hints of Atlantic herbs. Bracing acidity balanced by subtle texture; long mineral finish echoing granite soils and oceanic influence.
- FOOD PAIRINGS: Shellfish, octopus, scallops, grilled fish, citrus-dressed vegetables, and light Galician fare.
